About who needs care: 81-year-old female Highly independent and clear in her preferences Born deaf with significantly limited vision Maintains strong physical capabilities and prefers minimal interference About the care needs: Must be comfortable around animals; home includes 58 dogs and 3 cats Not responsible for pet care, but may assist with evening feedings Prepare and serve dinner; clean up afterward. Focus on healthy and well-balanced and delicious meals Provide support without crowdingallow the client to initiate interactions. Communication is key. Assist with walking/mobility due to visual impairment Potential assistance with evening personal care (to be determined as trust is established. If necessary as a future responsibility) May be asked to drive the client and assist with errands and household tasks Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
