About who needs care: Neck injury caused near full body paralysis. Needs help eating, positioning in bed, catheter emptying once a shift, and stretching/rehabilitation in hands and legs sometimes About the care needs: The patient was a doctor and is still very cognitive so he can and will explain anything he needs step by step, once every 2 days on the overnight shifts he'll need suppositories to have a bowel movement and then the caregiver will have to clean the diaper. It's the only diaper care needed. He has a catheter placed but only needs emptied at the end of shift. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
