About who needs care: It is the mother of my fiance. She has mid-level Alzheimer's. She can move around with a cane, Her husband does stay at the house and is quite mobile (83), and has a business. His son and grandson also stay at the house, but they all work their mobile battery business. There generally is one person there. My fiancee, who lives with me, has to constantly get her mom to take her pills in the morning., The person would mainly ensure the mom takes her pills and does her proper hygiene. The person would not be needed each day. So mainly making sure her mom is OK when no one is there and takes her blood pressure and neurological medication, which all is oral. About the care needs: A compassionate, middle-age to older caregiver. There are really not many requirements. She really does not have to that medically knowledgeable. I am a medical doctor, so I help my fiancee with her mother in that capacity. So just someone that can get her mom to take her meds and help her do some exercise. But not to push the exercise so much that her mom gets upset. If the person did 2 or 3 hourrs a day - starting at around 10 a.m. - that is all that is needed. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
