About the job

Help needed for my visually impaired mother in her early 80s - seeking full-time live-in home care. Seeking someone to handle limited meal preparation, we do a lot of cooking, but if we are not home, she will need help with this. Duties include providing companionship and help with her daily life, she has a life outside the house, goes to church and the rec center a couple of times a week and has people that take her to these functions, generally goes to lunch when she goes out. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.), light cleaning, we have a maid that comes weekly. Preferences for a caregiver who likes cats. She does not like to be left alone in the house when she is sleeping, so this is a live in position. We are there 3 or 4 nights a week but we'd like to be able to travel without worrying about her.
