About the job

About who needs care: 74-year-old with macular degeneration (low vision), and limited mobility. Uses a walker and can handle most daily living activities, albeit very slowly. Could use some help with light household chores (dishes, laundry, trash). Homebound and somewhat isolated, a mid week helper/visitor could be good for her spirits and would provide support for her 3 daughters who are her primary caregivers & social interaction. We take off work to take her to her doctor's appointments and provide support on the weekends. She is a smoker and does smoke inside her home but would likely refrain from it during your visit if asked. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
