About the job

We need hands-on care to take care of my husband who has had Parkinson's for 15 years. We live in Burnet County near Inks Lake. Assistance with medication is needed. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing and dressing, help with breakfast and light meal preparation. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion that can also help him do exercises daily. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. The care giver needs to have their home health certification or CNA due to insurance requirements . The time in the morning is flexible and once we reach our 60 day elimination period for insurance the hours can be increased as needed and I will need more assistance as the disease progresses. My husband enjoys talking with people and outdoor walks with assistance.
