About the job

About who needs care: I am looking for someone who could sit with my dad so that my mom could run a few errands and make personal appointments herself. I checked companionship. I would love for them to encourage him to walk or play maybe dominos with him. He had a stroke during COVID- walking is with a slower gait and he sometimes forgets his thoughts mid sentence. About the care needs: Personality- someone patient if he tells a story and gets stumped on the words. Willing to sit outside on patio. Comfortable with a very friendly dog that stays by my father. Skills- nothing in particular. He can do things himself just slowly. He loves going to his farm and checking on his cows. Very active in his church. Use to play tennis a lot but cannot do that. Maybe on occasion a willingness to drive him to his farm- about 20 minutes away (possibly) Services needed include: companionship.
