We have an immediate opening for a dedicated and resourceful Life Enrichment Specialist to assist our 29-year-old daughter with autism to enjoy a full life in the community every day. Note: This is not a facility-based, nursing home, in-home aide, or group home position. If that is your only experience and/or if that is the kind of position you are seeking, do not apply. This will not be a good fit for you. This is 100% in the community. Our daughter is non-verbal who uses American Sign Language and photos on her iPhone to communicate. She thrives being active in the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively managing a daily schedule that is comprised of volunteer opportunities with local businesses, outdoor exercise and recreation, and facility-based fun (e. g. Urban Air Adventure or Morgan's Wonderland).
