About the job

About who needs care: what I need is someone to stay with me overnight for a week or possibly longer, but should not have to stay 24 hrs day. Coming home from rehab with recovering back injury. I have diabetes, a successful kidney transplant 8 yrs ago. Legally blind in left eye so I do not drive. Team working on getting me a motorized wheelchair in my new ADA apt. I am supposed to be discharged June 27th. I will also be looking for help cooking and cleaning. About the care needs: Someone with compassion, patience and good humor. Someone that understands the importance of family and who loves animals. They should be strong and skilled in helping me move around in emergency. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
