About the job

About who needs care: She has Alzheimer's and requires assistance getting dressed, fed, taking medication, shower, and just some championship while I'm working. I work from home. I haven't found anything that keeps her attention anymore. She's usually up by 7 or 8, I give her her medication, sometimes she eats, sometimes she waits a little later. She gets a insulin shot at 1:30, she may or may not eat. She typically sits with me while I'm working and watches a movie on my laptop. About the care needs: Someone who has a lot of patience, keep her busy, doesn't mind spending time with her. Someone who doesn't mind dogs. We have 5 Boston Terriers and my daughter has a chihuahua. I also have 2 grandchildren that stay with us right now. My daughter usually helps on her 2 days off but with summer here, it's a little harder. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
