About the job

About who needs care: Looking for someone who knows how to use Microsoft Word with good keyboarding skills to type up his words as he says them. He is a retired professor writing an essay about a historical military figure, but his vision is so poor that he cannot type himself anymore. Because there is no audiobook version of one of his sources, the caregiver may be asked to read excerpts of that book to him as well. About the care needs: * Reliability- someone who sticks to the schedule * Someone interested in history- His essay is about the Second Punic war which took place around 200 BC. * Microsoft Word and keyboarding skills * Outgoing- someone who likes to chat and listen to stories * Afternoons are best for 2-3 hours between 12:30 and 4:00pm
