About the job

About who needs care: He is 82 with Alzheimer's disease. He remembers family, but struggles to remember other things. He needs a "Friend" to walk the dog with him, take him to appointments, hair cuts, etc so my Aunt has time to take care of herself. Ideally, someone who would be there around 9.. 930 when he wakes, go with him to walk the dog, PT, breakfast, etc. He is capable of bathing himself, even though he does not like to do it. He is a Navy man who enjoys reading non-fiction historical books. About the care needs: Someone older who can have discussions with him as a friend, not a babysitter. His words. He is proud of his "grandkids" who are my kiddos. They did not have children. He used to love to garden, be outside "tinkering". Services needed include: transportation, companionship, and mobility assistance.
