About the job

We are looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced caregiver to help care for our mother, who has ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). She is a warm and intelligent woman who is no longer mobile or verbal but does communicate with an eye gaze device. She needs support with daily activities, including trips to the bathroom (caretaker transfers her from a chair to a wheelchair), personal care, feeding, medication administration and responding to her needs and discomforts throughout the day. Experience with ALS or similar conditions is preferred but not required, what matters most is patience, empathy, and a gentle, respectful approach.
