About the job

My mom is 87 will be 88 in July. She had a stroke 3. 5 years ago. My dad is 87 and pretty capable but needs help caring for her and the house. We would need someone there at 7:30 a.m. to help mom get up, cleaned up and dressed. Some days may be a shower. She also needs help with transfers, bathroom visits and physical therapy. Mom has some physical and speech impairment but has very good cognition. Would need light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, floors occasionally. You will do personal care and participate in her daily therapy as well. Dad prepares her breakfast. He also makes dinner, and you are welcome to join them for dinner - he is a wonderful cook! Preparing a light lunch would be needed. Dad also does the shopping.
