About the job

About who needs care: Need someone 2 hrs per day to take my mother in her wheelchair to and from the communal dining room once a day from 12:00 p.m. to approximately 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. Mom walks with a walker in her apartment and transfers herself in and out of her wheelchair. Exhibits some mild cognitive impairment. Mom is very pleasant and gracious. No personally or behavior symptoms. About the care needs: Mom also has low vision (macular degeneration) so sometimes will ask to have things read to her. She socializes with friends while at the meal. Mom enjoys loves hearing about others interests and cultures . Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
