About the job

About who needs care: My mother is bedbound and weighs 550 pounds. She needs help with sponge bathing, getting meals prepped and given to her. She has an external cath that she will need changed and emptied daily. She is a diabetic but does not follow a diet, she can do her own insulin but needs the insulin pens given to her. She is emotionally unstable and has thrown tantrums when not gotten her way. About the care needs: They should have thick skin cause she can be loving and kind but then turn on you in a second if you say or do the wrong thing. They should be able to lift a good bit because she can roll but needs help rolling to the side. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
