About who needs care: My husband has Parkinson's Disease. He has mobility issues, but is still walking and moving about. He has interest in writing, art and chess. An ideal day would be for him to have his intellectual and physical needs met. Reminders for medication and a helping hand with movement and gentle exercise routine. About the care needs: A personality that is upbeat and optimistic. Compassion and patience. Someone who has dealt with Parkinson's patients before is preferred. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
