About the job

About who needs care: She's wheelchair bound and needs help getting up in the morning, transferring to the bedside commode, then back to the bed and into her wheelchair. She needs help getting dressed with her lower extremities, lifting her to pull her pants up. She needs help using the bathroom a few times during the day, transferring from her wheelchair to the toilet and back. She needs help getting settled into bed at night. Preferably a caregiver who would spend the night in case she has to go to the bathroom during the night. About the care needs: They need to know how to use the "knee-to-knee" or "bearhug" method for transferring, and be willing to lift approximately 175 lbs using that method. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
