About the job

Seeking companion care near North Bend for my mother-in-law in her late 90s. She is cheerful, mentally sharp and fairly mobile, but spends a lot of time in a chair in the living room. She lives in a nice home with her daughter and son-in-law and they need assistance taking care of her. Some housekeeping will be involved. Responsibilities will include medication management, helping with bathing, putting her to bed in the evening. Additional responsibilities may include meal preparation for the family. We prefer a caregiver who is a non-smoker and is comfortable with their small dog. At this time, the ideal schedule would be 9:00-noon, helping her get out of bed, assisting with breakfast and medications and getting her comfortable for the day, then returning late afternoon/early evening to help with dinner & put her to bed around 9:00.
