About the job

About who needs care: My friend has mobility issues, has lost a lot of his strength. He is in passable health for 82-83 years. He wants someone to come into his house for an hour or two a day to feed his cat, take care of a daily homecare chore or two, bring in his mail, and other needs as they arise. He says he feeds his cat generally between 2-4 PM, so those would be optimum hours for him at this time. He is a retired policeman with no current hobbies or interests. His wife passed a year ago. About the care needs: A gentle personality, mostly be quiet and just find out what my friend needs, complete the needed tasks for the day and leave. Having too much attention seems to exhaust my friend pretty quickly. No special hobbies/interests would apply Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
