About the job

I need senior care provider with experience. Our care concerns are: Mobility Assistance, Bathing / Dressing, Transportation. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.). My husband is unable to use the lower half of his body due to a spinal injury and subsequent surgery. Currently in rehabilitation but scheduled for release mid May. He is a large man 6' 275 lbs and will have a powered wheelchair. I am currently working with discharge on making home wheelchair accessible, etc. It's my understanding that his therapy will continue after he is released from the hospital but where that will be in unknown at this time. Transporting him to and from appointments will be needed. We do not currently own a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
