About the job

About who needs care: My dad is in hospice care at home for lymphoma and progressing vascular dementia. My mom has been doing all his personal care but is now too much, as he's increasingly confused and has more mobility struggles. He was a teacher and musician, and typically very kind and sweet. My mom is exhausted and they both need some support. About the care needs: Someone skilled in dementia care, who is patient, gentle & kind would be ideal. Someone with a sense of humor would be a bonus. My dad loves his family but we are all far away so visit a lot but cannot be there every day. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
