About the job

Typical daily responsibilities for my father would include helping him get up, showered (full assistance required) and dressed. Laundry and light house keeping to maintain a tidy environment. Driving him around town and to lunch or a family member's house to visit. Potentially helping him with garden activities (being his hands on the garden as he tells you what to do) as that is one of his joys. Participating in his physical and occupational therapy which would then translate to assisting him with certain moves and exercises through week. He is mostly in a wheelchair (parkinson's) and has mild dementia. He needs help doing most things including being pushed in the wheelchair. He needs assistance toileting (and wiping) and changing incontinence underwear. Looking for someone that communicate well with family regarding schedule and needs.
