About the job

About who needs care: I was diagnosed with MS 22 years ago, and diagnosed with Parkinson's disease two months ago. I walk with a walker at least half a mile a day. I take PD medication at 9, 1 and 5, which puts breakfast at 10, lunch at 2 and dinner at 6. I love health-food, Indian food, southwestern food and I love nature, birds, dogs and cats. About the care needs: I would like a caregiver to enjoy cooking, like music and be able to drive with me to the local health food store and help with shopping. The best personality would be flexible, upbeat and with some familiarity of the kinds of problems that arise with MS and PD. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
