About the job

About who needs care: This is purely informational and I need to go through the proper channels and see what kind of care my dad may actually need and what we can afford. He is in rehab after breaking his hip and his insurance only covers the cost through early July. In the event he is able to leave the rehab facility, I wanted to know what kind of care can be offered for what price. I do not live in the area and am across the country but I do have relatives nearby that could help and have more information. Please let me know how to proceed and get some more information in the event we need to pay out of pocket. I think amount of care would depend on a lot of factors. Thanks! About the care needs: I would assume my father would want a female caregiver. Like I said, this is mostly informative at this time and I will need to discuss with my brothers and sisters. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
