About the job

About who needs care: Mom is legally blind and partially deaf. She wears a hearing aid in her right ear. She is in a wheel chair but is able to dress, bath and use the bathroom on her own. My brother and I share her care but I live 20 miles away and he has a business. His house is across the road from hers and he stays with her at night. We need an extra pair of hands for mornings and early afternoon (9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. ) About the care needs: Mom is mentally alert and sometimes becomes frustrated with the limitations imposed by her sight and hearing deficits. We need someone who is patient and a good conversationalist. Mom loves to take about the old days when she and my Dad were young. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
