About the job

My Mom had part 1 of a 2 part surgery. She had a ileostomy that should be removed in a month or so and she needs extra help now which will continue after the surgery. This is an evening shift. It will start after dinner as she finishes watching her game shows. She will then need an escort to ensure she can brush teeth, change into pajamas, uses the bathroom and drinks some water and takes her meds before she goes to sleep. She will get up 1-2 times at night. She can use the bathroom and empty her ostomy by herself, but she needs an escort so she does not fall. She will be in bed by 8:30 and will not start her morning until 7:30 a.m. So it should be a very quiet and peaceful night.
