About the care needs: Both of my parents live in a nice home in Inclin Village. You will be asked to do some light cooking, laundry, tidy rooms, make sure they are using their canes, equip. correctly. Sometimes drive to doctor's appt., see a movie, get some groceries assist in dressing. Both my mother and father are in their mid-90's, my father is in the last stage of dementia, my mom is in fair health, but she is fragile and is a huge fall risk. My mom enjoys playing Scrabble and card games. You will need to remind them to do things, like taking their meds. My father has a catheter urine bag. My brother lives behind them. This is just a few of the many things that the caregiver can help with. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
