About the job

About who needs care: I am looking for help with my father who is 95, for preparing meals and some laundry. He is also diabetic, and needs reminders to check his sugar and take his insulin on a regular basis. Our family is about 20 min away and spend a lot of time with him but at this point he needs a bit more constant supervision. About the care needs: ideal caregiver would be friendly, patient, likes to eat/cook healthy, gentle demeanor, willing to do light housekeeping/laundry. Some nursing aid skills/experience would be a bonus but not required. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
