About who needs care: Moderate developmental disability, works full time 5days/week, may need occasional transportation to work or to MD appt., say 2-3x per month. Work is 1 mile from home. Good guy, just needs an extra eye on him and some guiding care. Never smoked or drank. Has some easy to follow dietary restrictions. Loves music, old tv shows, pasta and holidays. About the care needs: Care giver needs to be more clever than flexible so as to ensure the client does what he needs to do. Some professional medical background is preferable, but at minimum we need someone that has the ability to remain faithful to dietary needs and hygiene coaching. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
