About the job

Seeking hands-on care near Hammonton for my father in his 80s. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Dad has had vascular dementia for 7 years. He broke his hip in November and is a fall risk. He can get up and walk with assistance or with walker. He lives with my mother and she will prepare his meals for him. He needs help getting out of bed and getting dressed. Some help needed with bathing. He likes to watch tv, color, sit outside and go for a short walk. I need someone who has experience with dementia patients. He is easy going but can get frustrated with directions and tasks. I would prefer a certified home health aide or someone that has taken a training course in caregiving.
