We're looking for hands-on care for my mother, who is in her 70s and has Alzheimer's type dementia. She primarily needs help with bathing/dressing and companionship. We are looking for someone to provide care regularly 4-6 hours per week over 2 days, probably Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday. Ideally you would be able to do additional hours as needed when family caregivers have an appointment outside set hours, when possible. We anticipate care needs will increase over time so there will be opportunities to expand hours eventually. Looking for someone Mom can trust who genuinely loves caring for elderly clients. She loves to chat and tell stories! Preferences for a caregiver who is experienced with dementia, a non-smoker, comfortable with pets (cats/dog), CPR/first-aid trained, and COVID-vaccinated.
