About who needs care: She has alzheimer's and lives alone. Her husband is in a nursing home, and she visits him most days. she moved to Manchester from Nashua after her husband was ill, so she has no social connections there. She also can't drive anymore, so she spends too much time alone. About the care needs: Looking for companion who is patient and fun-loving and able to come up with ideas for socializing/getting out of the house. My sister repeats herself often, but she is remarkably upbeat given her circumstances and laughs a lot with friendly people. Other than the dementia and some arthritis, she is also very healthy and can walk and get around without assistance. Services needed include: companionship.
