I'm looking for hands-on care for my mother in her 70s. My dad is in his 80s. He has been caring for my mom for 30 years because of a stroke she had in 1991. She is partially paralyzed on her left side which causes her to fall often. She needs assistance with showering, cleaning bed sheets every other day, take out the trash (there are soiled adult diapers everyday so trash needs cleaning out every day) Some light tidying up is involved. Some help needed with bathing. Responsibilities include feeding. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. We might ask you to run errands now and then. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.
