About the job

We are looking for a "buddy" for our special needs son in Garner/Raleigh. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands and doing activities. A little bit about our son: he is 38 years old, has Down Syndrome, but high functioning. He enjoys video games, mini golf, billiards, movies, music, walking and ping pong. We are looking for someone with similar interests & age who would enjoy doing these activities with him. We are looking for Tuesday afternoons and Saturdays. Being involved with special needs is a plus. TUESDAY & SATURDAY hours are flexible. Definite non-smoker. Need references.
