About the job

About who needs care: I have congestive heart failure and COPD and I am on oxygen continuously. I get short of breath at times and have to take nebulizer treatments as needed. It is not safe for me to be by myself. My daughter is my main caregiver, but when she has to go somewhere, I feel safer with someone staying with me. I shuffle my feet when I walk, so I need someone to help keep the oxygen tubing out of my way so I dont get tangled up in it and fall. I also need the caregiver to heat up food for me to eat and when I get hungry. Thanks. About the care needs: I enjoy talking to people, but I dont want someone who talks constantly. I enjoy doing word search puzzles and watching game shows. Im hard of hearing, so you might have to repeat yourself often. I do wears a hearing aid in my right ear. Im tota deaf in my left ear. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
