About who needs care: My dad is currently on hospice care at home with us. A nurse and aide come out twice a week for about 30 minutes. We are struggling to care for my dad 24/7 while still working f/t (mostly teleworking). He has CHF, kidney disease, Afib, and various other ailments. He is now currently bedbound but he loves having visitors and enjoys talking about cars, WWII, his varied and interesting life, etc. About the care needs: Someone enthusiastic, humorous, not too young (preferably muddle-aged works best for my dad), and has experience helping with bathroom needs (he has a catheter which makes everything so much easier). His hospice aide helps with sponge baths already. We just need someone willing to listen, chat, and be here a few hours several times a week so we can run errands and work. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
