About who needs care: Were looking for a kind, reliable caregiver to assist my mother, a 69-year-old woman, who is currently recovering from a leg fracture. She is temporarily unable to bear weight on one leg and is primarily bedbound for now. She lives alone and is mentally sharp and communicative, but needs some physical support during this recovery period. Duties may include: - Helping her reposition in bed or transfer to a chair - Help with bathroom trips and bathing - Providing companionship and light conversation - Helping with heating meals (microwave-ready) - Assisting with water, medications, and comfort needs - Taking out small bags of trash or light tidying (optional) - Checking on small dog and letting it out briefly (if comfortable with pets) Care needs: Starting immediately and continuing for approx. 8 weeks Must be able to assist with limited mobility needs She is located in Marble, NC. Schedule is flexible, and we are happy to work with your availability. This could be a great fit for a CNA, companion caregiver, or experienced home aide looking for short-term hours. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
