About the job

About who needs care: He has had several strokes so he is either in his bed or wheelchair. His hands and speech are also week. Insulin dependent diabetes. About the care needs: The care is for my father in law. My husband lives with him but has back problems and cannot lift him for transfers anymore. They are both fun people. Father in law mostly watches tv and listens to music in bed. He eats dinner and breakfast at the table. Every morning he is transferred to a seat where he washes himself the best he can. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
