About the job
About who needs care: He is a diabetic, and he is not able to stand. He has arthritis in his knees and he has little use if them. He has been in rehab for several months and has had physical therapy. He has gotten a little better as well as we would hope. We think he would do better at home. He sleeps a lot during the day. About the care needs: He will talk to anybody about anything. He likes to talk about old things and old cars. He weighs a little less than 200 lbs and is a big man. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
