Assist the patient in dining, to assist in toileting including brushing her teeth and combing her hair, to assist in hanging her clothing, when an opportunity permits, to entertain her whether that includes looking at books or magazines, art or other projects such as her bird house painting project. Short walks are beneficial. Toileting and showering are challenging and we approach them with reasonable expectations. Mostly our goal is that she gets as much out of each day as reasonably possible. I work from home and will be available to assist on most occasions. Molli is our 6-year-old tricolored English Setter. She is our exuberant greeter but then regains her independence. Maxx, her adopted brother is a 96 lb Orange Belton English Setter. He is laid back but as sweet and charming as can be.
