About the job

About who needs care: Wheelchair user as a result of a spinal cord injury. On the autism spectrum however very low needs (eg very high functioning). Day would consist of companionship, light housekeeping, assisting with meal prep, bringing food, drink, medical supplies to them as needed (especially on high pain days), and ideally transportation to Dr appointments etc (mileage paid). About the care needs: No special skills needed, just warm caring personality, open communicator who is ok with a little hypoallergenic dog (they have a Maltese rescue). Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
