A typical day for this job will include mostly companionship and supervision. Mom uses a wheelchair most of the time and is usually capable of transferring to and from chairs, bed, toilet, etc. without assistance, but will need help with other daily tasks like preparing lunch, dressing, and showering. A normal day will not usually include administering medication other than acetaminophen. Normal hours will be Monday-Wednesday 1030am-400 p.m. Circumstances will sometimes warrant adjustments to the days and/or hours, including the occasional opportunity for additional days and/or hours. About the care needs: A good listener with empathy and patience would be a bonus. Memory Care experience will be helpful. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
