About the job

I'm looking for hands-on care for my mother in her 80s. She has a recent diagnosis of Alzheimer's and utilizes a rollator for her mobility due to some unsteadiness. Mom is very pleasant and easy to work with. She will be staying with her identical twin who is independent and does not require care. The main responsibility will be helping her with bathing 3 times a week. We are looking for someone who can provide occasional transportation for scheduled appointments if available. We are willing to compensate for drive time for someone who lives outside of Waynesville. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. Posted times are flexible and additional hour may be possible. Thank you for your interest
