About the job

About who needs care: Only underlying conditions are very poor vision as a result of several strokes and need for INR blood tests at a lab several times a month. She is on cumadin(sp) for heart issues. Memory issues are only mild. She has always loved to read in the past, has published 3 books, the last one just a year ago, loves opera and classical music. She moved to Saint Joe to be near me but misses the Twin Cities a lot. She gets lots of phone calls from her 2 sons and friends. She prepares her own meals so she would like to shop at a grocery Store every week or so. She would like to walk with her walker inside or out. She would like someone nearby when she showers. She would enjoy getting to know a caregiver. About the care needs: No special skills are needed. She is not religious and politically liberal. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
