This position is for once a week, every Thursday, 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p. m, with opportunities to pick up extra hours at times. (While other caretakers are ill, on vacation, etc.) Mom's needs are: "Teasing Nan" - our "Team" loves to have Fun! Sitting outside in Mom's swing, Medication Prompting, Watching game shows with Mom, doing puzzles, playing yachtzee, Light Housework, Having Fun listening to oldies Music! Helping Mom with daily stretches, daily walks if tolerated, (Mom has severe arthritis in her back.) We ice Mom's back first, before any daily activities! Light housework, (small area to clean) Assist with bathing, Laughter, caretakers with a good sense of humor and liking to take boat rides with Mom!!! Bring your bathing suit in the Summer!
