Live in caregiver needed for 31-year-old bedbound veteran. Pay is $3402/month. This is set by the VA and is non negotiable. You do not have to sleep here if you have somewhere else to sleep. On call hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Must have experience with Hoyer lift. Must not have any other jobs. There are no days off but up to three hours off, consecutive or non, per day can be discussed. Will prepare three meals per day, change diaper once per day. Transfer to wheelchair with Hoyer and set up portable ramp for doctors appointments. Light Housekeeping, Bathing, Meal Preparation, Companionship, Errands / Shopping. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. Veteran is a medical marijuana patient and will be medicating throughout the day.
