About the job

About who needs care: My grandfather is a painter who spends the summer in a rustic house in Maine. Its a treacherous walk from his home to his studio about 300 yards away. He needs assistance in his mobility moving from place to place, and medical oversight in the case of a fall, which in the past weeks has been happening frequently About the care needs: Someone who will give him a lot of space but can step in whenever he needs help. Multiple check ins a day would be ideal, rather than constant care. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
