About the job

We need companion care for our mother in Frederick. Her biggest need is with transpiration to dialysis 3 days a week with occasional transportation to other doctors' appointments and errands. She would require light housekeeping including help with some meal preparation, dishes, laundry and taking out the trash. Social companionship would be great, and help prompting her to take her medications. She is mostly self-sufficient but gets overwhelmed by house chores. We are looking for someone willing to work around 20 hours a week (not a full-time position). MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION. Mileage reimbursement of some kind can also be negotiated.
