About the job

About who needs care: Depression, Anxiety, Fibromyalgia, Functional Nurological Disorder, non-epileplic seizures. Ideal candidates should be have experience with seizures or movement disorders. Tasks would be driving to doctors appointments, short errands, helping to prepare or heat up small meals. Some help in dressing, running baths, or applying ointments. Some help in mobility or with exercise. Help is mainly needed in mornings and evenings when symptoms are worse. A live in caregiver would be ideal, and the caregiver would have their own room and access to all house amenities and weekends off. Activities I enjoy are crafting, doing puzzles, watching movies and going to walks. Must not be allergic to cats. About the care needs: Caregiver should be upbeat. They shouldn't be loud (loud noises can cause seizures) and be able to be calm and prepared in an emergency. They should be able to speak clearly. Experience with seizures and movement disorders is preferred. They may have to do some assistance with standing. Any gender is welcome. Services needed include: transportation, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
